My Bio
I'm actually mostly self-taught when it comes to drawing. I started drawing when I was young, but never really got anywhere until recently. My grandfather -Raymond Wood- was the one who insired me to keep drawing and work on getting better at what I do. My high school art teacher helped a bit, but she disappoved of my choice of fantasy over reality all the time.
I sometimes work in color pencil, lately I've been coloring digitally. All drawings are done on paper in pencil, then traced over with ink pens and scanned into my computer, where they are then colored. Older drawings (or if they look faded) are either pencil or colored pencil, my scanner usually bleaches the color out of them.
Other interest are collecting dragon figurines, studying ancient mythology, and looking for/at dragons on Flightrising.com

I have good and bad news. Good news: I can draw again and am doing so. Bad news: I'm in the final editing stages of my first book, so the artwork is being shelved for another time so I can finish my editing. Also, life keeps throwing me curve balls that are further slowing down my efforts to finish my book edits and driving me crazy. Thankfully, I haven't hit literal craziness yet, but I keep finding myself having arguments about what I'm supposed to be doing. Dishes, or videogames. Videogames, or editing. Read a book, or work on mine. Just to name a few. I just need a vacation away from home, to be honest. I'm crazy bored here and need some

Just saying that I am alive...Just not in the best of spirits. I've been off my meds that help keep back my crazy for 3 months; and my artistic muse seems to have vanished with them. No matter how hard I try; no image comes to mind and no new ideas form. That's why my art has been even less than usual; I just can't think of anything. I'm going to try fan art for this site I'm totally hooked on: Flightrising. It's dragons, one of my favs, and I'm hoping I can find some sort of inspiration for some art I really need to get done for others. Just don't judge if it sucks; I'm trying to find my lost inspiration after all.

Actually, I've been here a couple weeks, but I thought I'd give an update anyway, since my last one was a while ago. Currently vacationing in Missouri at my Mom's; doodling and writing more than I usually do, which is good for my projects. I might actually get some stuff done here! So, yeah, that's what I'm doing.

Thanks for the watch :D

Ditto to you too.

I love the book that your working on; it's very interesting and draws the reader in, even though it's only in it starting stages. Like yourself and Japhleti, I too am a writer; I just don't post anything here other than some art of my characters I do from time to time.

I am awaiting your next chapters to see what happens next!

Wow you dont know how happy it makes me to hear that about my book! I would love to see something of yours sometime, if its even half as good as your art I bet its fabulous!

Ha ha ha, I'm glad you think my tiny profile is good; to be honest, pretty much everything here is old stuff, I haven't had my computer for a month, so I haven't been able to post anything new. That and I had a 5 month art slump; I couldn't draw a thing. It's a good thing I use cheap printer paper; I crumbled a lot of paper during that time.

I'm leery about posting my book here; I've worked on it off and on for most of a decade; I'd hate for someone to steal my idea that I've worked on for so long. I do e-mail chapters to friends and family; if you want to be added to that list, note me your e-mail and I'll add you, if you're okay with it being Christian-based. I've gotten to the point where I'm mostly happy with it, and I'm going to start my chapter by chapter e-mail series again. I would rate it a Christian teen fiction book.
